Firm Profile

We are trial lawyers. We are not litigators. Litigators prepare for trial. They rarely actually try cases. They travel in flocks, usually consisting of senior and junior partners, associates and paralegals. They meet, discover and file motions - motions to dismiss, motions to compel, motions to limit, reconsider, continue, expand, and move mountains. They write memos, briefs, reply briefs and correspondence. Litigators do all of these things, until it is time to go to trial. Then, either you have run out of money, or they tell you to settle.

From the first day we represent you, we begin to try your case. We prepare as if trial will occur. While we refuse to cut corners, we recognize that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. We will not waste your money or your time and we will keep you informed. We will tell you early whether we believe you can win, but we will not guess or puff. Truth and trust are two crucial ingredients in the lawyer/client relationship.

We are trial lawyers. We represent both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases. We have tried hundreds of cases in jurisdictions all over the country in state and federal courts. The courtroom is our natural habitat, but we will not take you there unless your case should be tried. If there is a better remedy, whether mediation, negotiation, arbitration or some other form of alternative dispute resolution, we will let you know.

The choice is yours. You can hire a firm to litigate your dispute or you can hire a firm to solve your problem. We think the answer is obvious.
