Murray Ogborn Featured in Denver Post. Murray Ogborn, President of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, announces "Campaign of Truth" to rebut myths and fabrications aimed at undermining the civil justice system. Robin Repass Colorado's 2005 Young Trial Lawyer of the Year. Robin Repass was chosen as Colorado's Young Trial Lawyer of The Year for 2005. The Award was presented to Robin at the Eighth Annual Colorado Trial Lawyers Association's Spring Dinner. One of the guests at the banquet was Robert, a past client of Robin's. Robert was an executive with a multinational corporation until he was fired after suffering a stroke. Working together, Robert and Robin were able to convince Robert's former employer that it had significant exposure under the American's with Disabilities Act and Robin obtained a substantial settlement on Robert's behalf. "The personal satisfaction of seeing justice prevail is," Robin stated, "worth the sometimes overwhelming rigors of trial practice." Robin becomes the second member of OSO to receive this prestigious award. Mike Ogborn was Colorado's 2000 Young Trial Lawyer of the Year. Murray Ogborn Named "Best of the Bar" by Denver Business Journal. The Denver Business Journal named Murray Ogborn "The Best of the Bar" in Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation. (Full Story here). Murray was chosen based upon votes cast by attorneys practicing in the seven county Denver metropolitan area. The award was presented at a banquet held at the Denver Adams Mark Hotel and sponsored by The Denver Business Journal and ccintellect. In Murray's acceptance remarks he expressed appreciation to the Denver Business Journal for exhibiting the courage to create an award for trial lawyers, and thanked his fellow lawyers for honoring him with the prestigious award. Robin Repass Receives Article of the Year Award. Robin recently published an article in the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association's "Trial Talk" magazine which discussed the constitutional rights of women. At the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association's annual convention, Robin's article was voted the best article of the year. Congratulations, Robin. Murray Ogborn President-Elect of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. At the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association's annual convention, Murray was chosen as the organization's President-Elect. The Colorado Trial Lawyers Association is comprised of Colorado trial lawyers who are committed to the protection and advancement of individual rights and to the advancement of trial advocacy skills, high ethical standards and professionalism in the ongoing effort to preserve and improve the American system of jurisprudence. Murray will take over following the completion of current President Gordon Netzorg's term of office. OSO Welcomes New Associates. OSO is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates to the OSO team. Todd Fleckenstein joins the Denver office where he will practice primarily in the areas of construction defect and personal injury litigation. Marnie Jensen has joined the Lincoln office where she will concentrate on consumer and commercial litigation. OSO Litigation Support Practice Group Adds New Clients. These websites provide a secure, password protected environment which can be used to share documents, databases and other files between users in different locations. Accessed via the internet, users can easily upload and download documents and track version changes within a document.
